Committees of Shallotte Presbyterian

At Shallotte Presbyterian Church Elders and members work together in committees to organize programs and events for the congregation.  Every committee (except Personnel) welcomes new folks to help with the committee.  If you are interested please contact the chairperson for more information.

Each committee reports its work to the Session for coordination and oversight.

The Session is the governing body composed of the active elders who guide the church in all matters.  Each year the congregation elects elders for a three year term.  There are three classes of elders so that one-third rotate off each year.  Elders can serve a maximum of six years before being required to take at least one year off.
