Christian Education Committee

Meets the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

1. Assumes general oversight of church school programs.

2. Selects youth adult leaders with Minister and Director of Christian Education (DCE).

3. Recruits personnel for educational ministries of the church (Church School, Vacation Bible School.)

4. Selection and recommendation of curriculum materials with Minister and DCE.

5. Provides for Christian Education events that strengthen home and family nurture.

6. Coordinates camps, conferences and Bible studies.

7. Provide events which strengthen the teaching and nurturing ministries of the church.

8. Coordinates confirmation classes with the Minister and DCE.

9. Responsible for the church library and oversight of the Library Committee. Recruits persons to serve on the Library Committee

10. Work to increase participation and attendance in the Church School.

11. Supervises youth program.

12. Responsible for and supervises nursery caregiver.
